That night I stayed in the neighborhood of La Candelaria, which is the colonial part of the city that holds a lot of its history. I walked around and checked out most of the historic sites and museums.
The next day I took the tram up Cerro Dr Monserrate, a 3200 m mountain that has a church at the top and some amazing views. I then went to the Museo del Oro to see some historical gold.

I then took the bus out to Dario Sandoval's house on the outskirts of Bogota. I was so happy to meet the rest of his family and spend another night in his beautiful house.

The next night I took the overnight bus to Medellin, a beautiful city that sits in the valley of a amazing mountain range. Because I slept the entire 10hrs ride, when I got to the hostel I dropped off my bags and went out to explore the city.

The next day I went to Guatape to visit El Piedra, a huge rock with a crazy stairway to the top.
