Sorry it has been over a week since my first post, but it is really hard to find both an internet connection and time to write, thus I have decided to take you through my first week on the road mostly with pictures.
Saturday through Tuesday I was with Mario in Plilly to see how a big leaguer really lives. Turns out we did just about the same things we did in college, just on a larger scale. He was a great host and I am still in awe seeing him on the biggest stage.
Next I took the bus to New York and stayed with Sarah for Tuesday and Wednesday. I did the common touristy things like going to the stature of liberty, 9/11 Muesum and seeing a broadway show (Of Mice and Men).

Thursday we left for Panama City and the actual trip began. We stayed there for one night before we jumped another flight to Bocas Del Toro, a quintessential backpacker town with beautiful beaches and fun nightlife. Stayed two nights on Isla Colon and one on Isla Bastimente.

After talking to a few people out Sunday night and realizing how close we truly were to Costa Rico, we decided to hot route to Puerto Viejo. We took the bus here today and. I can't believe I am already in another country.
